My grandfather built a small home in the outskirts of Barquisimeto, Venezuela. Due to the crisis, I have not been able to return to this home and the memory of it has begun to fade. Casita is an ongoing series of the exercise of memory, where I recall that home and the memories it held. How can you depict the warmth of a memory that is starting to fade? How can we mourn the loss of a memory that you are not ready to lose? This series explores these questions through the framework of my familial home.
