12 minute performance

Inspired by a Queer reading of Narcissus’ myth in Cruising Utopia by José Esteban Muñoz, this public performance embraces his vanity as a Queer expression of self love. Using mirror and movement in conversation with Ryan Van Der Hout’s To Reflect Everything in Washington Square Park, reflection is used as the catalyst for the the embodiment of narcissus and an invitation for the audience to do the same through their own image.
